We used Kauai Babysitting Co in the past and were thrilled to get the new owner Maile, as our sitter this time around. We had such a great time and she was so incredibly flexible and accommodating with us! My daughter Mia is still practicing her hula dance that Maile taught her. I am glad that I captured it on video, we watch it all the time.  Certainly, Kauai was impressionable, but when we get a great babysitter it only adds to the experience for the kids and the great sitters become part of our experience as well. Wow- What a huge relief when Mel walked through the door to our hotel room! Our daughter, Elle, took to her immediately & so did my husband & I! I admit that I am a nervous wreck about leaving my daughter, but Mel is a first time parent's DREAM babysitter- relaxed, happy, intelligent & personable! It felt like the most natural thing in the world to leave our daughter with Mel...She went above and beyond the call of duty in ordering us a 'diaper genie' for our room... Which I didn't even know you could do! She also took Elle around the hotel and seemed to know all the appropriate little ways to interact with her...The bottom line is that I felt like I was leaving my daughter with my 'favorite Aunt' or something like that... What more can you really ask for in a babysitter?  When we come back to the island, we will be calling KBC again!

We came to Kauai with our family for a wedding. The bride recommended Kauai Babysitting Service.  We were a bit reluctant to leave our 2 1/2 and 5 year old daughters with strangers. When our sitter arrived with her bag of tricks and great attitude we felt assured.  And, when we got home to bathed, fed, and happy children we booked our next evening out! We have owned a home for several years on the North shore where we escape to (not often enough)!  We were thrilled to find Kauai Babysitting Company.  The service has made our annual vacation so special, for both us and our 2 children.  We leave the house each time knowing our children are enjoying the babysitter just as much as we enjoy the break.  The company also has a plethora of useful, local information for which we have been very thankful.

I was really worried about leaving my baby with a complete stranger, because we have never left her with anyone besides immediate family.  However, upon meeting our sitter and seeing her interact with Lilly, I could leave feeling completely secure.  The premium quality of this service was well worth the few extra dollars for the peace of mind, knowing my baby was being well cared for. Our sitter was extremely friendly and really took to Lilly. I knew Lilly would be in very good hands.  Lilly never shed a tear when my husband Ryan and I left for my sisters reception dinner.
